Facebook [Add-on/unlimited] : update Facebook status

Description
With this service you update your Facebook status just using it as an SMS service.

Messages can be 160 characters long.


Registration
You should have an account on Facebook website.


Configuration
Create a new service in goText with the following address:


To configure the service in goText you have to fill in the following service configuration fields:

• User: put your Facebook username (user123@youremail.com for example)
• Pass: put the password of your Facebook account

Solo che avete lasciato il print_r quindi se uno lo usa gli ciulla dei soldi..

Ok I've done some little changes in a new Perl script, please try it at:


if is all ok I'll update the official service to this. I've seen there were òàòèì character problem in POST, for the moment i workarounded with a regexp (à -> a'  etc)

Excuse me if i am being stupid but I am a little confused. Does this send an sms to your mobile? becayuse i have tried it several times with a dif number format and all i get is "status should be successfully updated" but I don't get any sms?

nono this service simply update your Facebook status!
This kind of service we call "Add-on", namely a service that doesn't send sms but do something else. Because goText is made to send SMS, those Add-on has a step more useless that is the phonenumber field, so we suggest to put any number, for example 1.
So when you see "Add-on" in our service list, remember that its aim is not to send SMS!
