Cosmotext [10 sms/week]: to many Worldwide countries

Description
With this service you can send 10 free SMS each week to many countries worldwide.

Message can be up to 140 characters long.


Registration
You need to register on Cosmotext/Text Cosmo website, providing a (valid) mobile phone number, because you will receive your password in a sms message.

It seems like that registering is free, but you can have advantages in some countries signing up with mobile phone and paying a little bit...we are not sure, as the website is not really clear on this.


Configuration
Create a new service in goText with the following address: http://www.gotext.org/cgi-bin/all-textcosmo.py

To configure the service in goText you have to fill in the following service configuration fields:

• User: the mobile phone number you use to login on Cosmotext.
• Pass: your Cosmotext account password

Important notes

• This is the list of supported destination countries on Cosmotext: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom

It seems like that Indonesia is not supported by Cosmotext.
If you want a confirmation you can ask to other indonesian users in our Indoseian forum board.

This website seems to have closed registration some months ago, and only people who registered in the past are able to use it nowadays.

I m trying to add the service but I keep getting the error "unknown Error" "operation non completed" right after I click the insert service button and after the message "wait while connecting to the server to download configuration file!".

I even tried other services and all give me the same error. Could this be related to goText installation in the first place or the service(s) themselves.

My mobile is Blackberry Curve 8900.

any help or ideas are highly appreciated. thanks

If you receive the error immediately it means that you have not configured correctly the mobile network connection for the Java application.
Please review your data settings on the blackberry..maybe the network connection configuration page of the midlet guide can help you.
