Thanks for the share, so what are

Service Identifier: (Enter the identifier for your service (minimum 6 characters, alphanumeric). This must precede the text in SMS messages sent to the Ericsson Labs short code to your service.)
Callback URL: (Enter the callback URL for incoming messages. Messages sent to the Ericsson Labs short code prefixed with your service identifier will be forwarded to this URL.)

that should be registered ! after getting the API key!

By the way i checked your XML service, it has just one page which means it does not need to login with your account! ? Where is the login part then !

Unfortunately It is not possible making this in python midlet, because the username needs 9 more characters so that can be suited with the long API key!

The SMS Send & Receive API has been taken offline due to technical issues and maintenanace. Hopefully they will be back online within a couple of days. Sorry for the inconvenience, stay tuned for more updates.

Unfortunately the SMS Send & Receive API is still down. Due to problems in one of the modules they have been forced to bring the service down for an extended service break. For clarification: the API is intended for experimentation only and not for
commercial use. For commercial use they propose you contact a bulk SMS service provider.

Since the API is intended for experimentation it will be unreliable, it is not designed for any SLA's. Read the Terms of Use for more detailed information. They offer this service for experimental use and beta testing during a limited time period controlled by the usage limit.

They are working on solving the problem but cannot promise when it will be back.

This is not surprising: it was designed to implement sms based interactive service, and a massive use as a free source for 1000 free outgoing messages was not what they designed it for...

Read all the posts then reply. It is being told that the 1000 sms were for test and the API is not working anymore
