Dear Admin ,
could you please put last updating date for each script in XML section? as the scripts are updating and we don't know ours are the last ones or not
the send , Pc-Gotext needs an option to update scripts via Gotext server (behind  manually)

I'm going to add auto-updates for script inside goText++ Desk soon, later (sometimes in the future) I'll replace the services page with a better (automated) one.

That will be a great idea to have an update button for all services or an update menu for one by one updating services

Erh...it is already supported!
The following existing Xml services are already using captcha:

  • Indosat (Indonesia)
  • Personal (Argentina)
  • Tim and Vodafone (Italy)

Is there any fast tutorial to learn how prepare xml files?!
I am interested to make xml files myself to use in Gotext-Desktop
I'm sorry but there's no tutorial right now. I'd really wish to have one sometime soon, but I have always so much to do .. I don't know if I'll be able to really do it :P

The basics are:
  • log the GET/POST requests made by your browser when you use the sms website, from login to logout. This can be accomplished with many Firefox extensions, for instance
  • eventually read pages' HTML code to find the randomly changing post fields (if any) and confirmation and error texts you should check in the service
  • rewrite the requests in order in the xml service with the supported tag and attributes

Maybe the best way to start is take a look at the code of an existing Xml Service of website you usually use and compare the requests made by the browser and the Xml Service <page> tags, and you should understand them immediately.

Then learn exactly how the <var> tag and <fork>/<condition> ones work, and all the other tag and properties in the official goText Xml Service documentation which is ugly but almost complete.

If you start and have some problem or doubt you can always ask in the forum for enlightenments or help.

Exactly! You may have some services whose source is xml file from filesystem because you used previous versions. But if you add a new service, or update it manually using the new url update, you'll benefit from auto updates from url without the need to change the source another time!

Dear Zydio,
When i update the scripts, the service icon is not updating ,
i edit the script and changing the service icon address, but when i update service from software i see old icon for that service
Maybe you update the service when you have no internet connection?

I tried and you're right, there's a bug, the icon is not updated when its url changes.

Ok, I'll fix it in the next release, thanks for the bug report.

PS: please don't mix different subjects on the same thread...open another thread the next time!

My first post here.

I would like to suggest a request thread.

That way I can post my request for either an O2 CZ or T-Mobile CZ xml script

You are right, the Xml Services boards should replicate the standard services boards..we will re arrange the forums in the future.
Right now feel free to open a request thread inside this board!
