hi!
right now with goText you can send sms in Indonesia using YesMMS service or SendMore one. You don't need to register to gotext.org in order to send SMS with services but you could register to websites used by services. For example : you have to register to yesmms.com and use yesmms accounr user and pass to send sms usinf yesmms service with gotext (for the sendmore service you don't need to register to any website)

To increase Indonesia support we need some indonesian help, we need to know if there is there in indonesia some website that allows to send free SMS via web so we could build the service for gotext

Could you add INDONESIA to your service list?

There are three services that allow the customer of PT. Indosat to send 10 FREE SMS/day

1. Matrix

My cell phone number is +62-xxx-xxxxxxx
Country code is 62, GSM provider code is 816, my cell
number is 4836903
GSM service provider is Matrix (Indosat)
SMS Receiving is free
Website of Matrix provider, where you can send FREE SMS is
http://www.matrix-centro.com (users of Matrix only)

2. Mentari

My cell phone number is +62-xxx-xxxxxxx
Country code is 62, GSM provider code is 858, my cell
number is 80172460
GSM service provider is Mentari (Indosat)
SMS Receiving is free
Website of Mentari provider, where you can send FREE SMS is
http://www.klub-mentari.com/ (users of Mentari only)

3. IM3

My cell phone number is +62-xxx-xxxxxxx
Country code is 62, GSM provider code is 856, my cell
number is 93664404
GSM service provider is IM3 (Indosat)
SMS Receiving is free
Website of IM3 provider, where you can send FREE SMS is
http://www.m3-access.com/ (users of IM3 only)
Use CAPTCHA for LOGIN

In addition to the above information, there are several scripts for those three services that can be downloaded from:

http://www.divshare.com/download/20702-040 (for Matrix and Mentari)
http://rapidshare.com/files/27564922/ScriptM3SMS.zip (for IM3 service)

I would be very grateful if you could make those three services compatible for gotext

Thank you very much.
Haryo

Mr. Bluesman,

What a marvellous job you have at hand, i am an M3 user and sending free sms using goText, it only makes less than 1 kb of data transfer (and quite fast!), thanks a lot.

Just an idea, what if you arrange to get MobiK in the service list, so you don't have to download the annoying adv anymore when you send sms from your mobile? After all the mobile application seems to stop working now, though you still can send from their website.

And what about Wadja? It works in the website, just that the captcha often  plays trick on it's users making many failures and repetitions.

By the way, i am a layman in programming, but perhaps i can contribute by providing indonesian translation for goText? How is the procedure?

Warm Regards,

Hanung

Free SMS from M3 is temporarily unavailable
« Reply #7 on: October 08, 2007, 01:44:16 pm »
Mr. Bluesman and all M3 users,
Perhaps in these several days to come there will be many indonesians wondering and complaining about why goText can no longer be used with M3.
Well I would like to inform you that i read today (Oct 8th) , M3's official website stated that it temporarily stopped it's free sms service until  October 21st.
So goText will not be able to send M3 free sms due to the OPERATOR, not the software nor the connection.

Regards,
Hanung
